Make It Today
This website is a compilation of resources that we have found helpful when introducing and delving into the topic of diversity.
There is always room to learn and grow, so make today the day for appreciating diversity, speaking about diversity, and having the hard conversations that need to be had.
With this said however, we understand that it can be difficult to have these conversations. Whether this be because we do not want to say the wrong thing, we do not know how to initiate the conversation, or we do not know how to teach the topic once and support it thereafter.
Here at Make It Today, our goal is to support the broader community by providing guidance through the process of first understanding diversity, and then sharing this understanding with others.
As pre-service teachers, we have learned that it is challenging to find resources about diversity to engage students. We can learn from history, change the present, and strive for a better today.
